Sad to say, but I agree you should take it in. Besides, laptops — like people — don’t enjoy things hanging out that aren’t supposed to be hanging out.

I hate to say that you probably have to take it in. The computer peeps I just paid a visit to yesterday said that this was the most common problem with laptops. I would most definitely back everything up because sooner rather than later the jiggling isn’t going to work any more.
I’m so very sorry. It hurts when the laptop is sick.
