May 23

It’s been an…interesting….couple of days.

The weekend was spent wiping noses, measuring liquids of various colors and flavors, arguing over genuine stupidity and the lack of logic that comes with a 14 year old.

Monday evening was spent in the company of some truly lovely people. So lovely that I lost track of time and didn’t get home til 11pm. Not so lovely - the boys were still awake AND in their playclothes AND un-bathed. (Above mentioned teen? You’re FIRED!!!!!)

Yesterday brought an interesting piece of litigation to my mailbox. Papers that were filed in 2005 have finally reached the “long arm of the law” status and I have a court date. No small amount of brainpower has been dedicated to processing this latest development.

I was very much looking forward to an event that happened yesterday afternoon (see previous post).

I was UNfashionably late to meet some friends at the Strawberry Farm. The boys didn’t want to pick any (which is 90% of the fun) and Joe’s nose started oozing again so instead of going to someone else’s house for a change (and BOY could I use a change) we came back home and did the decongestant, nasal spray, blow blow blow again thing.

There’s a strawberry farm by you? That is the coolest ever.

There are LOTS of strawberry farms near me.

A large number of tobacco farmers have gone to strawberries to replace their income lost by the lack of leaf demand.
