I was up late trying (and failing) to talk a friend down from an anxiety attack. It’s very frustrating watching someone hell-bent on repeating the same mistakes you’ve made, but if I intend to stay friends with her, watch it I must. I have to admit, there were several times I thought of driving to her house and administering some attention-getting corporal punishment, but….2AM is not the best time to be banging on someone’s door.
The boys are on the mend thank goodness. The streaming snots have left us, and only the “this kid should be in a TB ward” cough remains. And I’m hoping it’s gone by the end of this week (like next Thursday). Joe got some time in the backpack today as I swept and mopped the kitchen. He likes the pack YAY! so i see some serious walking in our future. Liking the pack is a good thing and a bad thing at the same time. Good - I don’t have to buy a double stroller, I can pack Joe and push Dan when we do the zoo. Bad - sibling rivalry means I’ll probably be carrying both of them at one point or another.
Look forward to some killer photos of that in the future ![]()
